Well, I know I don't sleep enough here in Paris (Ubuntu folks have social events _every_ night !) but hey, how do I use this trackback thingy. I would like to link to this:
http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memadd.bml?journal=dinda&itemid=216516
but it simply doesn't show and I get the following message:
1 POST data incomplete: Invalid data. Key "title" missing.

Hello Miriam,
I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do. The link you provided requires a login.
To trackback on Livejournal a blog entry published on fsfe.org you need to enter the trackback URI provided on the blog entry itself into the Livejournal entry form (I don't use LJ so I don't know how it works).
Same for the other way around: if you want to add a trackback on your fsfe.org blog then enter the trackback URI of the external blog entry into the form of fsfe.org.
