Login should default to https/tls-secured connection
Hello there,
one easy to implement thing would be to make the login-form use https instead of http, thus providing two major benefits:
1.) I'd be able to rest more easily, as I would not have to manually edit the URL in my browser's location bar to read "https://" instead of "http://" every time I sign on, and my login-credentils would be reasonably secured without manual interaction.
2.) Maybe CACert's root-certificate would spread a little faster all over the web
What's your opinion on this?
Cheers!
with best regards:

Re: Login should default to https/tls-secured c...
it seems that the link to register in the about page was pointing to http instead of https. We have put a rewrite rule now, so every time a user tries to access the register page it will be redirected to https.
Please, try to follow your steps again to join and see if you are redirected to https. Report again if you are not and please give more details (urls and links you have followed).
cheers
