home page info

is it possible for you to copy across the basic user "homepage" information from the old system? My weblog is preserved but my biographic information isn't there. Overall the new system looks great!

...and the documents folder

It's getting better and better, portal team. I'm sure it was a lot of work. Thank you. However, uhm, I miss my documents folder I created beside my Weblog and user home page. Solely the Weblog with its entries seems to be on the right place. Does anyone know how I can access my old user home page and in particular my old documents folder? Anastasios

How to change the home page description

To change the text appearing in the Fellows home page, go to your folder, click on the link "change profile" and edit text in the "My folder description". HTML is allowed. Then save the edits clicking on the "Send for publishing" button. Users can publish any kind of content in their own folders, so no approval will be necessary. Of course, you are responsible for what you write

Re: home page info

Thank you for your support. I still experience problems if I attempt connecting the old portal at http://plone.fsfe.org I couldn't copy all of my documents there because old site seems to be down after few page requests - or even totally off like right now. Probably I have not the correct url? However, this is not that urgent, but I want avoid to loose my documents when old site will be switched off.
