Behold the Metalglass Plussy! :-) I made this after some very encouraging correspondence with Georg Greve.

Right now I am tired so just the interesting stuff:

You can get the "source" xcf.gz from here, because fsfe.org's CMS will not accept a file at that size (2741 kilobytes). It is licensed under the same license as the JPEGs.
The JPEGs are available in 1024x768, 1280x800, 1280x960 and 1600x1200. Well, appearantly the CMS resizes the images at will (BOO! HISS!) so you might as well get them here: 1024x768, 1280x800, 1280x960 and 1600x1200

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Well thanks for all the positive comments! I fixed the external links (boy, I _really_ was tired because I _explicitly_ thought "Don't forget the links" :-) )

@mk: Maybe not default, but...

These look great. Anyone giving a presentation could fade them to 20% or so and use them as a background image for their slides. ...that's what I think I'll use them for anyway :-)

Wow, that's really cool :) Now I have to change the background images...

I have a dream that one day this wallpaper is the default in KDE, Gnome, xfce, ... on all distributions ;)

ps: the external links are all to the 1024x768 version.
