French Copyright Law: Summary

As we non-French speakers are desperately trying to grab every morsel of information that comes out about the current state of the French copyright law, Jean-Baptiste Soufron comes to our rescue.

Here's his summary in English, which he wrote so that he doesn't have to answer tons of emails on this question. Thanks!

Ciaran,
I'd normally do that myself, indeed. However, I am reaaaally busy atm and will be so for the weekend (Installfest coming up on Saturday). Feel free to go ahead ;-)

Dominik

only recommend?

incinerator: I haven't read the article yet, but when I like something I go ahead and inform the friendly/popular sites. Waiting for someone else to act on a recommendation can be a long wait and the news goes off the boil. LWN.net, groklaw.net, and www.linuxelectrons.com are other sites that publish some good articles.

Excellent

That is truly an excellent article, and very educating. I would recommend forwarding this to the more popular news sites like digg.com, lxer.com, slashdot etc.
